WohnKulturGut Gostewitz

An der Keppritz 1, 01594 Riesa, Germany

WohnKulturGut Gostewitz is an event venue in a historic four-sided farmstead in Gostewitz, a district of Riesa. The centrepiece of the site is a large barn dating from 1889, which has been converted for events. It provides space for markets, exhibitions, concerts, readings and other cultural events. A stage allows events with live programmes, while the courtyard and garden can also be used as additional areas when the weather is suitable.

The estate also includes former stables, which are now used as a gallery. The garden, covering around 2,000 square metres, combines planted areas with open spaces and is also used for cultural events and markets. This historic property therefore offers a range of spaces, from an event in the barn to a format that brings indoor and outdoor areas together.

WohnKulturGut regularly hosts public cultural events. These include concert evenings, arts and crafts markets, as well as exhibitions and events held as part of the Riesaer Sommerakademie. The markets focus on craftwork, demonstrations and hands-on activities. The summer academy brings courses and creative work to the estate, with exhibitions and a joint closing programme.

For event planners, the venue offers above all a rural setting steeped in history and flexible spaces for cultural and public events. The combination of the barn, stage, gallery, courtyard and garden is suitable for a range of event formats. The local team also organises its own programme series and works with regional cultural and business partners on markets.
