The Foggie Neuk

The Foggie Neuk is a compact, flexible venue for hire in the centre of Aberchirder, Aberdeenshire. Its rooms can suit organisers looking for a local base for community activities, meetings, workshops, classes and smaller celebrations. The botanical-themed space offers a welcoming setting, while its simple layout gives hirers room to arrange the venue around their plans.

The venue has a main hall and a smaller room. The main hall can accommodate around 30-35 people seated at tables, or up to 45 in theatre-style seating. The smaller room seats approximately 10, making it useful for a breakout session, a small group gathering or an activity that benefits from a separate space. Organisers can hire the full venue by the hour, with electricity charged separately.

Practical facilities include a catering kitchen with a cooker, kettle, urn and utensils, along with tables, stackable chairs, window blinds and multiple power sockets. Two toilets, front double-door access and a rear fire exit are also available. Entry and exit cleaning are included in the hire price, while hirers are responsible for taking their rubbish away.

The Foggie Neuk is also used for markets and community events, and its gallery shows a range of possible settings, including wedding-related gatherings, tea parties and creative activities. The venue is in Aberchirder's central square, where free car and coach parking is available. Event organisers can enquire directly about availability and hire rates, then plan the room setup to suit their gathering.
