The Round Barn Stable of Memories

The Round Barn Stable of Memories is a historic event venue in Lexington, Kentucky, available for weddings, corporate functions and social celebrations. Its distinctive circular form, exposed timber, original brickwork and central chandelier give the space a characterful setting, while draping and bistro lighting help create a warm atmosphere for events. The venue dates to 1882 and has been adapted to host modern gatherings while retaining its historic features.

The barn welcomes wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, birthdays, formals, proms, date parties and other celebrations. Couples can arrange an indoor ceremony or choose an outdoor ceremony setting, then host their reception at the same location. The main space can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated reception or banquet, or up to 300 guests for a cocktail-style event with limited seating. A raised second-floor area offers another perspective over the main room and can support event layouts and guest activities.

Venue hire includes an on-site event manager, tables and chairs, set-up, linens, heating and air conditioning, draping and bistro lights. Wedding rentals also include advance access for set-up, with ceremony seating available for outdoor arrangements. On-site parking is available, and the venue is close to downtown hotels and restaurants.

Food and bar service can be arranged through the venue's in-house catering partners, with menu options ranging from Southern-inspired dishes to chef-led selections. Bar packages include hosted, consumption-based and cash or card options. Outside planners and selected suppliers are welcome, giving organisers room to shape the event around their needs. The venue does not permit outside alcohol.
