The Turn Events

The Turn Events offers two characterful event spaces on Monmouth Street in Newport, Kentucky, for organisers seeking a setting with vintage details and practical support. The original venue at 913 Monmouth Street suits smaller celebrations, while the larger 828 location accommodates gatherings of up to 150 people seated and includes an outdoor area. The spaces are available for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, private parties and corporate events.

Historic features such as timber floors, tin ceilings and exposed brick give the rooms a distinctive backdrop. The team styles each booking with pieces from its vintage collection, arranging tables, chairs, lounge furniture and centrepieces to suit the occasion. Organisers can also request a personalised chalkboard wall and welcome sign. Vintage dinnerware collections are available as an optional extra, with table settings arranged by the venue team when selected.

The 828 venue has a foyer, catering preparation area and multiple restrooms, while both spaces offer an event staff attendant and post-event clean-up. Catering arrangements are flexible, and organisers may bring their own beverages or arrange a bartending service. Optional staff and dinnerware packages are available, depending on the booking and venue.

With dedicated wedding and reception options alongside shorter rentals for social and business gatherings, The Turn Events can serve events of different sizes and styles. Its combination of venue hire, vintage furnishings and hands-on styling gives planners a useful starting point for creating a considered celebration without sourcing every decorative detail themselves. The Newport locations are close to downtown Cincinnati, with public parking available nearby.
