Schützenhalle Montenau is a group venue on the Amblève, in the village of Montenau near Amel. The hall can accommodate around 80 people indoors. With the surrounding meadows and space to pitch tents, there is also room for groups who want to combine their stay with camping. The total capacity is stated as 100 people.
The accommodation is set up for multi-day group activities. There are three separate spaces: the large hall, a lockable room next to the kitchen and the kitchen itself. The kitchen is professionally equipped, so groups can prepare their own meals. There are also showers, washbasins and sanitary facilities, including an accessible toilet. There is a large paved car park at the venue. Please note that the hall is not heated.
Its riverside location in a rural setting makes it a suitable base for walking groups, associations and other parties who want to spend time outdoors together. The practical combination of indoor space, a kitchen and adjoining camping meadows gives organisers the option of running a group programme in one place.
The venue is only available to hire in July and August. No bookings are accepted outside these months. Organisers are therefore advised to discuss their preferred dates directly with the owner in good time and to check availability and practical arrangements for their group in advance.
