Distinct Locations

Distinct Locations connects event planners and couples with a curated portfolio of private estates and distinctive venues across Napa, Sonoma and other destinations. Its collection includes vineyard properties, wineries, ranches, barns, gardens and secluded retreats, with options for intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations. Venues accommodate weddings, private events, corporate gatherings and leadership retreats, with capacities and settings that vary by property.

The team helps organisers narrow down suitable locations based on details such as the event type, guest numbers, preferred region and overall feel. It can present a tailored shortlist, arrange guided virtual tours and organise in-person visits by appointment. Once a venue is chosen, Distinct Locations can introduce clients to local event planners, caterers and other preferred suppliers, while its team provides support around the property and event day.

For corporate organisers, the portfolio also includes properties suited to leadership offsites and board weekends, including estates with accommodation and working spaces. The company works with venue owners too, offering services to develop and manage their event programmes. This can include advising on how a property is positioned for events, connecting it with suitable clients and event professionals, managing enquiries and tours, and overseeing reservations and agreements.

With a broad selection of individually represented properties, Distinct Locations gives organisers one point of contact for exploring venue possibilities across wine country and beyond. Its service is designed to help planners compare settings, understand each property's fit and arrange the next steps towards booking a suitable location.
