The Cottage at Riverbend

The Cottage at Riverbend is an outdoor wedding and event venue in Eagle, Idaho, set on a leafy riverside property a short drive from the town centre. Its grounds offer a range of settings for ceremonies, receptions, family celebrations, retreats and photo shoots, with lawns, mature trees, gardens, a water feature and a whitewashed barn providing different backdrops throughout the site.

Two permanent pavilion tents provide sheltered event space. Both have concrete floors and window-style sidewalls, while lighting includes chandeliers in one pavilion and café-style string lights. The venue also provides tables and chairs for up to 400 guests, patio heaters, several parking areas and a nearby lawn with festoon lighting. Couples and organisers can arrange the space to suit their event, from an outdoor ceremony to a dinner and reception under cover.

The restored Spanish Revival cottage, built in the 1930s, is included with the venue. It has three bedrooms sleeping up to ten, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room and games room. This gives wedding parties or other event groups a convenient place to prepare, spend time together and stay on site as part of their booking.

Bookings are offered throughout the year on selected weekdays and weekends, with packages varying by season and length of hire. Organisers can arrange a walkthrough and ask about availability before choosing a date. The venue has specific requirements for event insurance, and organisers serving alcohol need to arrange the relevant permits and licensed service. Its combination of outdoor event space, riverfront scenery and overnight cottage accommodation makes it suited to intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations.
