Green Taverners

Green Taverners offers a flexible event space at Home Park in Plymouth, suitable for organisers planning both private celebrations and business gatherings. The marquee can host birthdays, engagement parties, wedding receptions, celebration of life events and other special occasions, as well as conferences, workshops, training sessions and corporate functions. Its spacious interior can be arranged to suit different event formats, from seated occasions to larger gatherings.

The venue has capacity for up to 600 guests, with seating for around 280 and the option to arrange extra chairs. Organisers can discuss catering packages with the team, as outside catering is not permitted. The venue also has a fully stocked bar, and the team can advise on options for different occasions and guest requirements.

Accessibility is considered, with ramp access and accessible toilet facilities. Guests can use the nearby Milehouse Park and Ride car park, and there is a loading and unloading area by the marquee for event set-up. Its location within the Home Park site gives the space a distinctive football-ground setting, while the multi-use layout lends itself to a range of event styles.

Alongside private hire, Green Taverners hosts its own non-matchday programme, which can include comedy nights, tribute acts and live football screenings. Matchday Fanfests are another part of its activity, with a bar and entertainment for supporters. Event organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, room layouts, catering and the practical details of their booking.
