Castle Park - Somerset Manor LLC

Castle Park offers a private outdoor setting in Harvard, Illinois, for organisers planning weddings, birthdays, reunions and other gatherings. Its garden is available for exclusive event hire, giving guests room to celebrate among the property's lake, ponds, woodland and landscaped grounds. The surrounding scenery also makes the location suitable for outdoor photography sessions.

The garden measures approximately 300 by 240 feet, with a circular area of about 7,854 square feet. The venue listing states a maximum of 140 guests and an event period of 14 hours, from 9 am to 11 pm. Hire includes access to the garden and designated areas of the park, parking for up to 50 cars, an electrical connection in the circular garden area, a three-unit restroom trailer and clean-up.

This is an outdoor venue, so organisers should plan for the weather and arrange their own tent, tables, chairs and decorations. Tents must be placed on the gravel area rather than the grass. The manor house and its immediate surroundings are not included in the hire, and event belongings and food must be removed on the day. Temporary structures must be taken down within 24 hours. Organisers are also required to hold single-day event liability insurance. The venue's stated weather policy allows a booking to be moved to another available date, rather than refunded.

With its broad garden space and natural setting, Castle Park can suit event planners seeking a private location for a celebration or a scenic outdoor gathering. Confirm availability, access arrangements and current hire details directly with the venue before planning an event.
