The Village Gathering Place

The Village Gathering Place is a small, flexible venue in downtown Mount Gilead, Ohio, available to hire for gatherings of up to 50 guests. Its industrial-chic style and ready-to-use furnishings offer a welcoming setting for organisers planning an intimate celebration or a small business event.

The space suits a range of occasions, including bridal and baby showers, birthdays, graduation parties, anniversaries, family reunions, corporate meetings, workshops and pop-up shops. Organisers can reserve the venue by the hour or for a full day, with different booking options available on weekdays and at weekends. The venue is designed to be a comfortable backdrop that can be used as it is or personalised with the organiser's own decorations.

Tables and chairs are provided, along with a lounge area featuring a shuffleboard table, a bar-style counter, a utility sink and a full-size fridge-freezer. Guests may bring their own food or arrange an outside caterer, with food prepared elsewhere and brought to the venue. For events serving alcohol, the venue requires its designated bartending service. A television with an HDMI connection and sound equipment can also be arranged for an additional charge, making the space useful for presentations and informal business gatherings.

Reservations can be made online, with the chosen hire period covering arrival, set-up, the event itself and pack-down. Organisers should allow enough time for both set-up and clean-up. The venue provides self check-in information before the booking, while staff handle sweeping, mopping and vacuuming after guests leave. Street parking is available nearby, with public parking lots within walking distance. The Village Gathering Place offers a practical, characterful option for small gatherings in Mount Gilead.
