Bürgersaal Kapellen
- Lange Straße 15, 47608 Geldern, Germany
Bürgersaal Kapellen is a rentable event hall in the Kapellen district of Geldern. The rooms are suitable for private celebrations as well as events organised by clubs and business occasions. These include weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, company parties, meetings and conferences. Event organisers can use the hall as a venue in its own right and arrange catering with a caterer or party service of their choice.
The hall is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. Before the extensive modernisation work, it offered around 300 square metres of air-conditioned usable space and table seating for up to 200 people. Its facilities include a retractable stage, a permanently installed sound system and a dedicated bar area. A walk-in cold room, cloakroom and toilet facilities complete the range of amenities. These facilities make the hall suitable for a variety of event formats, from a formal seated meal to a meeting with a stage programme.
Bürgersaal Kapellen was modernised as part of the work on the new Bürgerzentrum Kapellen. Recent announcements from 2026 report that the hall is being renovated and that it is due to reopen gradually. Since the initial approval is affected by the construction work and requirements for escape and rescue routes, event organisers should enquire directly about current availability. Lucia van Baal is the contact for information and appointment arrangements. This makes it possible to clarify which room layout, facilities and times of use are available for the event in question.
