The Burn

Set within a 200-acre estate in Glenesk, The Burn offers event planners an exclusive-use country house venue for gatherings that benefit from privacy, comfortable accommodation and a peaceful rural setting. The historic Mansion House welcomes groups of 25 to 45 people, with additional estate accommodation available for larger parties. Its character combines Georgian features with relaxed shared spaces, gardens and views of the surrounding Angus countryside.

The venue hosts small weddings, family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, academic retreats, away days and conferences. For weddings, couples can hold a ceremony indoors or outdoors, with arrangements tailored to their plans. Function rooms and breakout areas can be configured for meetings and group activities, while the Courtyard Studio provides another flexible space for workshops and smaller sessions.

Event stays can be arranged on a full-board or half-board basis. The in-house team can plan meals around a group's requirements, including dietary needs, and can discuss extras such as afternoon tea, packed lunches and wine with dinner.
