Carreglwyd Estate

Carreglwyd Estate is a privately owned country estate on Anglesey, available as a setting for weddings and other gatherings. Its historic house and rural grounds provide a distinctive backdrop for organisers looking for a venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces.

For weddings, the estate offers several locations to use throughout the day. Couples can hold a ceremony by the lake at the boathouse and floating pontoon, welcome guests on the front lawn, and use the Long Barn and Stables for dining, celebrations and dancing. The courtyard provides another place for guests to gather. The different spaces allow organisers to shape the day around their plans, rather than relying on a single room for every part of the occasion.

Venue hire is offered on a flexible basis. Organisers may bring their own suppliers, and the estate can also share recommendations from businesses familiar with the property. Accommodation is available on site, including holiday cottages, a honeymoon suite, glamping and camping options, which can help guests make a longer stay of their visit.

Set among woodland, gardens and open grounds, Carreglwyd can suit couples seeking a countryside wedding location, as well as organisers exploring the estate for a retreat or celebration. The setting combines historic character with a variety of practical spaces, giving event planners room to consider different layouts and ways of using the grounds. Organisers can contact the estate to discuss availability, hire arrangements and a viewing.
