Highgate Carriage House

Highgate Carriage House is a historic event venue in Fairmont, West Virginia, offering an atmospheric setting for weddings, social celebrations and corporate gatherings. Built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate, the Tudor Revival carriage house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its period architecture, landscaped gardens and distinctive historic character give organisers a choice of elegant indoor and outdoor settings.

Couples can arrange wedding ceremonies and receptions inside the carriage house, which can accommodate around 120 to 150 guests, or choose a seasonal garden setting beneath a large event tent for celebrations of up to 300. The property also welcomes bridal showers and other couples' events. Wedding packages and pricing are available through the venue's event coordinator.

For business and social occasions, the venue can be hired by the day for gatherings such as meetings, business lunches, birthdays, baby showers, reunions and Christmas parties. The corporate and social rental includes use of the property, tables and chairs. Its ballroom and dining area provide space for seated events, while the grounds offer room to plan an outdoor occasion when the season and arrangements allow.

The venue also hosts community events when availability permits. Organisers can contact the event coordinator to discuss dates, event formats and pricing. With its historic building, garden setting and options for both intimate indoor occasions and larger tented gatherings, Highgate Carriage House gives event planners a distinctive Fairmont location for weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
