Cruiseport Gloucester

Cruiseport Gloucester is a waterfront venue on Gloucester Harbor in Massachusetts, offering spaces for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. Organisers can choose between the Grand Ballroom, suited to larger gatherings, and the more intimate Harbor Room. Both provide views of the working harbour and flexible layouts for ceremonies, receptions, dinners, meetings and milestone occasions.

The Grand Ballroom has hardwood floors, high ceilings, chandeliers and broad windows overlooking the water. It can host up to 290 guests for a seated dinner or 400 for a cocktail-style event. The Harbor Room is designed for smaller groups, with capacity for up to 120 at dinner or 175 standing. The venue also offers accessible facilities and event support from an in-house manager, who can help coordinate timings, room arrangements and service.

Food and drink are arranged through the venue, with menus tailored to the occasion and bar service available. For presentations and meetings, in-house audiovisual equipment and support can be arranged. Wedding packages include a five-hour venue rental, a toast, bartenders and cake cutting, with valet parking and a newlywed suite at a nearby sister hotel also included in the listed package details.

For events that would benefit from time on the water, organisers can add a private cruise aboard Beauport Cruiselines. The vessel has indoor dining areas, bars, dance floors and an open-air deck, and can accommodate up to 300 guests. It is available for gatherings such as rehearsal dinners and corporate events, as well as a sailing cocktail hour linked to a shore-based celebration. The combination of ballroom, smaller function room and chartered event boat gives planners several ways to shape a gathering around Gloucester Harbor.
