The Mischanlage at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein is an exceptional event venue in Essen. Its industrial architecture, distinctive hoppers and spacious interiors create an impressive setting for event formats in which the venue itself can be part of the experience. The spaces are spread across three levels, with a total of around 2,000 square metres, and can be used individually or together depending on the occasion.

Trichterebene offers around 888 square metres of space and accommodates a range of seating arrangements. Options include standing receptions, theatre-style seating and banquets. Bunkerebene provides around 540 square metres for presentations and exhibitions. The venue also includes a foyer of around 215 square metres and Verteilerebene, which is also suitable for exhibitions and presentations. In total, the entire Mischanlage can accommodate up to 800 people standing at an event.

The venue is suitable for concerts, art and cultural events, exhibitions, galas and special corporate events. Video installations and other staged formats also find a fitting setting in this distinctive industrial environment. The event management team at Stiftung Zollverein supports event planners in choosing and implementing the right concept. Event technology and equipment can be requested. Organisers can also bring their own suppliers, as there is no requirement to use specific catering or equipment partners for the halls and rooms at Stiftung Zollverein.
