Darby House

Darby House is a private event venue on the historic Darby Dan Farm in Galloway, Ohio, near Columbus. Set within a gated estate with extensive grounds beside Big Darby Creek, it offers organisers an exclusive setting for weddings and social celebrations, including milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and fundraising events.

The venue combines indoor rooms with outdoor spaces, giving planners options for different parts of an event and a practical alternative if the weather changes. The Racing Room has a built-in bar, fireplace and creek views, while the larger Grand Dining Room includes a stage and broad windows looking towards the grounds and water. The Waterside Terrace can be used for ceremonies, receptions or drinks outdoors, with paths, lawn areas and a fire pit nearby. Bridal party suites are also available for wedding preparations.

Darby House promotes all-inclusive wedding packages, with essentials such as the venue, tables and chairs, place settings, professional staff, set-up and pack-down included. Couples can choose details such as catering, bar service, flowers, music, cake and linens. The venue's own catering team prepares menus ranging from plated meals to buffet options. Event coordinators and staff support the planning and running of celebrations, while the estate's private-use approach means one event is hosted at a time.

For event planners, the site offers a combination of indoor and outdoor settings, ceremony and reception spaces, and a distinctive historic estate backdrop. The rooms can suit gatherings from smaller occasions to larger celebrations, with the Grand Dining Room accommodating up to 250 guests for a seated event.
