Alte Druckerei Hannover

August-Madsack-Straße 1, 30559 Hannover, Germany

Die Alte Druckerei Hannover rents out spacious areas for event formats that need plenty of room and a distinctive industrial setting. The former printing works offer around 6,700 m² of indoor space, divided between two event areas of different sizes. Together, the areas can accommodate events with up to 2,500 people. Depending on the occasion, the venue can be used for meetings, conferences, workshops, presentations, vehicle launches, and film and photo productions.

The larger area covers around 5,024 m², while the second covers around 1,692 m². The rooms have durable industrial flooring, power and basic lighting, as well as options for suspending event equipment. Both areas can be heated and accessed by car or lorry, which can make it easier to set up exhibits, vehicles and production equipment. Service areas are available for catering, and lighting schemes can also be planned flexibly.

The venue is in the Bemerode district of Hanover and can be reached from the exhibition grounds in just a few minutes. It is also possible to get there by public transport, with the August-Madsack-Straße tram stop a short walk away. Parking is available at the venue.

When planning, please note that, according to its contact page, Die Alte Druckerei has been able to offer its spaces only on a restricted basis since 1 January 2025, due to changes to Lower Saxony's assembly venue regulations. Event planners should therefore enquire well in advance and confirm availability and the applicable terms of use directly with the team.
