The Kraftzentrale in Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is a striking event hall for organisers looking for plenty of space and a distinctive industrial backdrop. The former steelworks building combines historic steel architecture with a flexible indoor space. On around 6,000 square metres, large corporate events, trade fairs, exhibitions, concerts, galas and other events attracting large audiences can be staged.

The hall is around 170 metres long and 34 metres wide. Depending on the event format, it can accommodate up to 4,200 guests. Different capacities are specified for theatre-style, gala-style and parliamentary-style seating. Curtains can divide the space into separate areas, while the position of the stage can be chosen to suit the event schedule. A large roller shutter door allows equipment and technical materials to be delivered directly into the hall.

The facilities include high-voltage power connections, architectural and work lighting, a roof structure that can be used for rigging, toilets, cloakrooms and heating for events during the colder months. Wi-Fi and LAN are available on request. The venue is accessible via a ramp with few barriers, and there are plenty of parking spaces on site. For open-air events, outdoor areas in the surrounding area can also be included.

The Kraftzentrale is not tied to a particular caterer, so organisers can generally plan their catering concept freely. Special supply agreements with a contractual partner apply to beer and non-alcoholic drinks. The event management team at Landschaftspark is on hand to help with questions and arrange site visits. The hall is therefore suitable for productions that call for generous dimensions, flexible space planning and the character of a listed industrial site.
