Verhalenhuis Belvédère

Rechthuislaan 1, 3072 LB Rotterdam, Netherlands

Verhalenhuis Belvédère is a distinctive venue in Katendrecht, Rotterdam, for organisers of meetings and events. The historic building, dating from 1894, offers several spaces that can be hired separately or together. The venue is suitable for small groups and larger gatherings of up to around 90 people, depending on the space and the chosen layout.
On the ground floor, there is room for gatherings of around 10 to 80 people. The space can be arranged for a presentation, dinner, reception or gathering with a stage and audiovisual presentation, among other things. There is also an exhibition space for groups of up to around 35 people and a listening lounge for smaller gatherings. A small-scale space in the centre of Rotterdam is also available for meetings, training sessions and workshops. A separate cooking studio in Katendrecht has room for small groups who want to cook together or take part in a workshop.
The venue is available for a wide range of occasions, such as meetings, study days, conferences, receptions, weddings, birthdays and memorials. Organisers can complement their gathering with lunch or dinner, a guided tour of the building or neighbourhood, or a programme exploring personal stories and the history of Katendrecht. This makes the venue suitable not only for business meetings, but also for celebratory or meaningful occasions with a distinctive theme.
The variety of spaces and possible additional programmes makes it easy to tailor a gathering to the group and the purpose of the day. Verhalenhuis Belvédère is located on the corner of Rechthuislaan and Veerlaan and is accessible by public transport. The building has a lift and is accessible to wheelchair users.
