The Wellsley

The Wellsley is a bookable event venue in Chicago's River North neighbourhood, offering several distinct spaces for private celebrations and corporate occasions. Its flexible layout can host events ranging from smaller gatherings to large reception-style functions, with the venue listing capacity for up to 500 guests across the site. Seated arrangements can accommodate up to 200 people, depending on the spaces and setup selected.

The Main Hall is the largest individual room, suited to dinners, wedding celebrations, ceremonies, conferences and receptions. The Atrium offers a separate setting for cocktail hours, live entertainment and dancing, while the second-floor lounge provides a more intimate option for private gatherings, tastings and after-parties. An outdoor patio, multiple bars and an on-site catering kitchen add further choices for shaping the event and moving guests between different parts of the venue.

Organisers can discuss their plans with the venue team, arrange a tour and review layouts and event details before confirming a date. The Wellsley works with Boka Catering as its preferred catering partner, while also allowing organisers to engage other licensed and insured caterers. Drinks are purchased through the venue, which holds a liquor licence. The team can also recommend local event suppliers, and valet parking can be arranged. The venue's mix of room sizes and event facilities makes it a practical option for weddings, company gatherings, dinners, receptions and other celebrations in central Chicago.
