In the heart of the Monts du Pilat, Domaine de la Scie du May offers a reception venue in a natural, unspoilt setting in Doizieux. The venue hosts weddings, private celebrations and business gatherings. Its hall can accommodate up to 80 people seated or 110 standing, for a dinner, drinks reception or other celebration. The stone walls give the space a rustic character, while the enclosed grounds and covered outdoor area let guests enjoy the outdoors or take shelter in case of rain or extreme heat. Private parking makes it easy to welcome guests.
The hire can be tailored to suit your plans: depending on the period, organisers can book the hall alone or choose to hire the whole estate exclusively. Two holiday cottages are available on site, each sleeping up to ten people. They have a range of sleeping arrangements, a kitchen and living areas, allowing some guests to stay on site after the reception. The two cottages can also be connected.
The estate does not offer an all-inclusive catering package. Organisers are therefore free to hire a caterer of their choice and plan their event as they wish. This flexibility suits couples planning their wedding, as well as individuals and businesses looking for a venue with accommodation, outdoor spaces and a reception hall in a rural setting. Its proximity to Saint-Étienne and Lyon makes it possible to hold a countryside reception while remaining easily accessible from the region's main cities.
