Mehrzweckhalle Hückelhoven offers event organisers a municipal venue for larger events. According to the city administration, it is suitable for dance and sporting events as well as exhibitions, and can be hired for club activities or commercial events. Private parties are not permitted.

The venue on Dr.-Ruben-Straße is attached to the Aula of the Gymnasium. This means that, where appropriate, organisers can also use the Aula's foyer. The Aula has up to 738 seats and is equipped for cultural events such as concerts and theatre performances. The Mehrzweckhalle itself is available for large events. When it is used, refreshments can be provided by the venue's caterer, which can help with event planning.

In addition to the venue in Hückelhoven, the city manages other multi-purpose halls in its districts, including Baal, Kleingladbach, Ratheim and Schaufenberg. The city provides separate applications to use each venue. Organisers can therefore enquire specifically about the most suitable hall and the facilities available at each location. Enquiries and hire arrangements are handled by the City of Hückelhoven's Department of Culture and City Marketing. The venue is therefore aimed in particular at clubs and commercial organisers looking for a flexible space for a larger audience, sporting activities or an exhibition.
