Franklin Plaza

Franklin Plaza is a historic event venue in downtown Troy, New York, offering spaces for weddings, banquets, celebrations and selected business gatherings. Its ballroom brings period character and an elegant setting to occasions ranging from wedding receptions and milestone birthdays to formal dinners and community events. Couples and organisers can discuss their plans with the venue's team and choose from packages designed around different event styles and food and drink arrangements.

For a more contemporary setting, The Third occupies the venue's upper floor. Its lounge and rooftop terrace provide an option for receptions, business dinners and other gatherings, with indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy. The venue also presents options for conferences and meetings, making it relevant to organisers planning both social and business occasions.

Food and hospitality are an important part of the offering. Packages can include a drinks reception, hors d'oeuvres, a multi-course dinner, dessert and bar service, with choices across menus and service formats. Depending on the event, planners may be able to select buffet, carving or pasta stations and adapt package details to suit their plans. The venue invites organisers to arrange a visit and discuss requirements with its team.

Set in a longstanding downtown Troy building near the Hudson riverside, Franklin Plaza combines ballroom, lounge and terrace settings at one address. It is a venue for organisers seeking a full-service place to host guests, with event space, food and beverage arrangements, and planning support coordinated through the venue.
