The Walnut House

The Walnut House is a historic event venue in downtown Murfreesboro, Tennessee, offering flexible indoor spaces for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, meetings, conferences, concerts, fundraisers and private celebrations. Its refurbished building combines period character with facilities suited to a range of event formats, from seated dinners and wedding receptions to presentations and standing events.

The Main Hall is the venue's largest space. It can accommodate up to 160 guests with banquet tables and a dance floor, up to 240 in a theatre-style layout, or as many as 300 for standing events. Smaller room options, including the Walnut Room and breakout rooms, give organisers choices for more intimate gatherings or additional event areas. Lounge spaces are also available.

For presentations, performances and custom event settings, the Main Hall is equipped with professional sound, lighting and video walls. The team can discuss room layouts and event requirements with organisers, and visitors can arrange a tour before booking. Organisers may select their own caterer, with local recommendations available if needed. Live bands are welcome, and the venue can provide audio support or suggest musicians.

With its downtown location and adaptable spaces, The Walnut House can serve as a setting for both personal celebrations and business events. Its different seating and room configurations allow planners to consider the format and guest numbers when choosing how to use the venue, whether they are arranging a wedding, a conference, a fundraiser or a concert.
