Top of the Town

Top of the Town is a private penthouse venue in Arlington, Virginia, where event planners can host weddings, celebrations, meetings and corporate functions overlooking Washington, DC and the Potomac River. Expansive windows frame views of the city’s landmarks, while an outdoor terrace offers another setting for ceremonies and guest gatherings.

The venue has several connected spaces, including a main ballroom, the Monumental Room and the Potomac Room. Layouts can be adapted for ceremonies, receptions, dinners, dancing, presentations and smaller meetings. The largest events can accommodate up to 180 guests standing, or up to 150 seated with a dance floor. Smaller rooms can be arranged for more intimate gatherings or business sessions.

Couples can use the venue for ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions, with the option to move between spaces during the celebration. The team can also introduce organisers to preferred caterers and other event suppliers. Catering and additional services are arranged separately, giving planners flexibility over their event choices.

For business events, the venue suits meetings, training sessions, retreats, luncheons, awards dinners and company parties. Organisers can ask about audiovisual support, teleconferencing and high-speed internet. Tables, chairs and a dance floor are among the included event essentials, and an on-site facility manager supports the booking. Guests have dedicated lift access, a foyer and private parking, with the Rosslyn Metro station nearby. Event planners can arrange a tour and discuss room configurations, availability and suitable supplier options with the venue team.
