De Hoftafel is a small-scale meeting venue in Kortenhoef, in the green countryside between Kortenhoef and Hilversum. The venue is intended for organisations and teams looking to meet, brainstorm, spend a day away from the office, or organise a workshop or training course together. The rooms are hired exclusively by one group at a time, allowing participants to work in peace and privacy.
The main room can accommodate groups of up to 18 people. Different layouts are possible depending on the event, including boardroom, U-shape, theatre-style and circle layouts. There are three separate breakout rooms on the first floor, ideal for training courses, working groups and sessions in smaller groups. The homely decor, open kitchen, lounge area and open fireplace give the venue an informal atmosphere. The room opens onto a garden and terrace, with greenery and nature close by.
Wi-Fi, a presentation screen, flip chart and writing materials are among the facilities available for presentations and working sessions. The hostess welcomes groups personally and is happy to help plan the day. Food and drink can also be provided on site. Options include coffee, tea and a sweet treat, a fresh lunch, sharing platters or a multi-course dinner. The kitchen serves seasonal dishes and caters for vegan requirements.
