Victoria Opera House

Victoria Opera House is a historic venue in downtown Baltimore, Ohio, available to hire for weddings and a range of other gatherings. Dating from 1905, the building offers event organisers a distinctive setting with the character of an early twentieth-century opera house. Its spaces include a theatre with a stage and balcony, as well as an upper-floor ballroom, giving organisers different backdrops for their occasion.

The venue is used for weddings, parties, meetings, concerts, theatre productions, holiday activities and community gatherings. Wedding packages are available, and the spaces can also suit birthday, graduation and retirement celebrations. The theatre setting may work well for performances, talks and events where a stage and audience seating are useful, while the ballroom provides an alternative for social occasions and meetings. Organisers should contact the venue to discuss the available arrangements, rates and practical details for their event.

The building is being cared for and restored by Baltimore Downtown Restoration, a local non-profit organisation. Improvements include heating and air conditioning, lighting, restroom facilities and an accessible entrance ramp. The venue’s historic interiors and varied rooms give planners the opportunity to choose a setting with a strong sense of local character rather than a conventional function space. Whether planning a wedding celebration, a private party or a community programme, event organisers can enquire about hiring the Opera House for their guests.
