The Valiant Ballroom

The Valiant Ballroom is a small, characterful venue in downtown Vancouver, Washington, available to hire for private celebrations and organised gatherings. With space for up to 49 guests, it suits occasions where a welcoming, intimate setting is more appropriate than a large function hall. Organisers can enquire about parties, weddings, classes, conferences and photo studio use, with hourly hire options available on weekdays and at weekends.

The building dates from 1910 and combines brick walls with original wooden ballroom flooring from the 1960s. The large ballroom is accompanied by a small bar room and a green room, giving hosts useful spaces for refreshments, preparation or a quieter moment during an event. Venue facilities include an accessible entrance and bathroom, a fridge, a three-compartment sink, six bistro tables, eight eight-foot tables and 20 chairs. Additional options include black tablecloths, electric candles and use of a wardrobe-style entrance. Organisers should ask the venue about the best layout and any further equipment needed for their plans.

The space can provide a distinctive backdrop for receptions, community events, creative activities and business gatherings. Its ballroom floor also lends itself to events centred on dancing, while the separate rooms offer flexibility for different parts of a booking. The venue publishes guidance on alcohol and insurance requirements, including a required event-insurance policy for guests. Enquiries can be made with the date, event type, timing and any special access or setup needs, so the venue can respond with suitable rental information. Local vendor recommendations are also available for couples and event organisers looking for suppliers to support their plans.
