DEPOT

DEPOT is a flexible warehouse venue in Cardiff available to hire for private, corporate and public events. Its industrial-style setting offers around 22,000 square feet of adaptable space, with two connected areas that can be arranged for different event formats. The smaller Treeside space suits meetings, networking and private celebrations, while the Main Space can accommodate large seated dinners, conferences, awards ceremonies, markets and trade shows. Standing capacity in the Main Space is listed at up to 2,000 guests, making it suitable for larger gatherings as well as more intimate occasions.

The venue provides event infrastructure including a stage, PA system, lighting rig, audiovisual facilities, backstage and green room areas, bars, accessible access and roller-shutter entry for larger equipment or installations. In-house technical support is available to help organisers plan and deliver their production. Two permanent street food kitchens are part of the venue, and DEPOT can connect organisers with regular catering suppliers. The venue also offers wedding hire and space for private celebrations, alongside corporate socials, product launches, conferences, trade shows and live music events.

Organisers can discuss a bespoke hire with the events team, who can advise on space, technical requirements and suitable suppliers. The venue’s open warehouse layout gives planners room to shape the look and flow of an event around its purpose, whether that means a seated programme, a standing reception, a market layout or a stage-led show. DEPOT is based on Curran Road, close to central Cardiff, and has a car park available for event use.
