Gilded Lily Venue

Gilded Lily Venue is an event space in Irondale, Alabama, set in the historic Whistlestop District. Its characterful interior combines exposed brick, antique mirrors, chandeliers, large industrial-style windows and timber ceilings, giving celebrations a distinctive setting. Two event rooms are joined by wide French doors, allowing organisers to use the spaces together or create separate areas for different parts of an event.

The venue welcomes wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as showers, birthday and retirement parties, corporate meetings, classes and other gatherings. Its published capacities are up to 130 guests seated, 150 standing, and 150 for a ceremony. Couples can also enquire about an intimate wedding package for up to 40 guests, which brings together the venue, ceremony, flowers, photography, food, cake and music in one arranged celebration.

Facilities include an accessible entrance and toilets, on-site preparation space with a refrigerator, microwave and warming oven, and a private dressing room for brides. Tables and gold Chiavari chairs are available, along with linen options for hire. A baby grand piano can be used during events, and parking is available nearby. Organisers may bring a licensed caterer of their choice, or ask about the venue’s catering partner and menu options. The team can help with event set-up, and venue visits and bookings are arranged by appointment. Located close to major roads, Gilded Lily offers a flexible, character-filled backdrop for personal celebrations and business occasions in the Birmingham area.
