Located on Place Sainte-Catherine in Bar-le-Duc, the Salle Dumas is a multi-purpose municipal space available for rent for events, shows, and association or professional gatherings. Its large hall, approximately 600 m², can accommodate up to 722 people, or 600 people seated. It is therefore ideal for organizers seeking a spacious venue for a performance, conference, exhibition, public meeting, or dinner dance.

The hall has 400 chairs and 70 tables, as well as a 12-meter by 8-meter stage. A 144 m² modular dance floor allows the space to be adapted for events with a dance floor. For speeches and conferences, a basic sound system is available, including a CD player and microphones. Fixed front lighting completes the stage equipment. Any more specific technical requirements should be discussed with the event organizers.

The Salle Dumas does not have a kitchen. The City therefore specifies that it is not intended for family meals, birthdays, or wedding receptions. Interested organizers can inquire about availability and rental conditions with the municipal events department. Depending on the event, fire safety requirements may apply. Due to its capacity and facilities, the venue is primarily intended for organizations and groups preparing events open to the public or large gatherings in Bar-le-Duc.
