Fountain Square

Fountain Square is a flexible event location in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, available to organisers planning gatherings, performances and public events. The open-air plaza can host occasions of different sizes, from private celebrations and work functions to larger events promoted to the public. Organisers can enquire about dates and apply for the required event permit, with bookings subject to availability and the Square’s operating rules.

The space is suited to events that need a central, recognisable city setting. Depending on the event, a permit may be required for amplified sound, ticket sales, food or merchandise sales, larger gatherings, public promotion or the installation of equipment such as tables, chairs and tents. The venue also offers event-related equipment and services, with arrangements and costs confirmed as part of the booking process.

For seasonal occasions, organisers can enquire about renting Winterhaus, a heated, glass-enclosed space on the Square. Full and partial rental options are offered for holiday parties, corporate events, birthdays and other private functions. Its seasonal setting and on-site bar make it an option for winter gatherings that benefit from an indoor space in the city centre.

Fountain Square’s management team handles event enquiries and can guide organisers through the venue’s requirements. With both an outdoor plaza and a seasonal enclosed space, it offers a distinctive downtown backdrop for organisers looking to bring people together in Cincinnati.
