Wasserschloss Thienhausen
- Dreizehnlindenweg 1, 32839 Steinheim, Germany
Thienhausen Water Castle is a historic event venue in the Weserbergland region near Steinheim. The estate offers organizers a unique setting for weddings, private celebrations, and business events. The focus is on the castle's historic rooms, the surrounding greenery, and the converted stables, which can be used for larger gatherings.
Several options are available for weddings: Couples can plan a civil or symbolic ceremony and then celebrate in the castle gardens or indoors. For a reception in the former stables, the venue can accommodate up to 150 seated or 300 standing guests. The interior can be decorated according to individual preferences, and with appropriate booking, outdoor areas are also included in the event space. For smaller weddings, there is a package for up to 50 guests, with the ceremony room or the castle garden as weather-dependent options.
Companies can also request rooms for conferences, seminars, and product launches. For summer festivals and garden parties, the courtyard, the castle gardens, and areas near the stables are available. Seating, standing tables, pavilions, and a lounge area are provided depending on the booked space. Organizers can use their own caterers or follow the venue's recommendations. Food, drinks, and service are organized through partners; the venue itself does not require a specific catering solution.
The use and design depend on the occasion and the booked area. Viewings and appointments are available upon request. For guests wishing to stay overnight, the venue can provide information on accommodations in the surrounding area.
