Verde on Cherokee

Verde on Cherokee is a distinctive event venue on Cherokee Street in St Louis, centred on a modern greenhouse and complemented by indoor and outdoor spaces. Organisers can rent the venue for weddings, ceremonies, receptions, parties, workshops, photography and other small gatherings. Its different areas make it possible to choose a layout that suits the occasion, guest numbers and season.

The standard rental includes use of the greenhouse, covered walkway, kitchen and a restroom. The greenhouse is heated for cooler weather, while the patio and parking area are open-air. The indoor showroom and studio can be added when a booking needs more covered space or additional facilities. The venue’s website gives sample arrangements for ceremonies, seated dinners, receptions and informal mingling. Capacity depends on which spaces are included and how they are arranged, with larger gatherings spread across several areas.

Bookings are available by the hour or through a set rental package, and the venue can quote for customised timings, layouts and optional items. Organisers may bring their own food, drinks and vendors, so they can shape the event around their own plans. Verde does not provide full event planning or catering, but it offers optional rentals such as tables, chairs, linens, tableware, tents and outdoor heaters. Its team can also provide floral design and styling, with additional showroom or studio access available for an extra charge.

Set among the shops of Cherokee Antique Row, Verde offers a characterful setting for couples and organisers seeking a flexible, intimate venue rather than a full-service function space. The mix of greenhouse charm, patio seating and optional indoor lounges gives planners room to tailor the setting to their event.
