Spruce View Event Barn

Spruce View Event Barn is a rustic event venue in Barre, Vermont, offering a countryside setting for weddings and a range of other gatherings. The property brings together a timber barn, open grounds and dedicated areas for ceremonies, receptions and outdoor socialising, giving organisers flexibility to shape the day around their plans.

The barn can accommodate up to 150 guests and includes tables and chairs, electricity, Wi-Fi and space for a band, DJ and dancing. Its open front and large sliding doors connect the interior with the surrounding grounds. Outside, guests can gather by the pond, use the lawn for games or enjoy the landscaped setting and views. Gravel paths link the ceremony area with the barn, and the outdoor wedding space features rustic log pews and a birch arbor. A separate changing cabin is available for the bridal party, while table linens and flexible table layouts help with reception arrangements.

The venue also welcomes events beyond weddings, including family reunions, birthday and anniversary parties, graduations, memorial gatherings, company retreats, craft fairs and summer picnics. Non-wedding bookings are offered in a five-hour format, while the wedding package provides access from Friday midday to Sunday midday for preparation, rehearsal and the celebration itself. A nearby tented catering area has electricity, a potable water connection and an on-site grill, so organisers can arrange food service for their event. The grounds also offer nearby parking and accessible, ramped access into the barn. Spruce View Event Barn is suited to organisers seeking a relaxed rural location for a celebration with indoor and outdoor spaces in central Vermont.
