Central Energy

Central Energy is a flexible event venue in Columbia’s BullStreet District, set in a restored former power plant. Its industrial character, modern interior and open layout give organisers a distinctive setting that can be arranged for different kinds of gatherings. The venue offers more than 8,000 square feet of indoor rental space, with a courtyard and green space that can be included for events needing room to spill outdoors. Large bay doors connect the interior and courtyard, making it easier to create a shared indoor-outdoor experience.

The space is available for weddings and receptions, corporate meetings and celebrations, fundraisers, galas, rehearsal dinners, family milestones and community occasions. Organisers can book the main room or add the courtyard, and the team works with clients and their event coordinators to shape the space around the occasion. The venue’s rental includes tables and Chiavari chairs, with separate rooms that can be used as bridal and groom suites, breakout areas or a green room. Smaller areas are available as part of a main-room booking rather than as standalone rentals.

Food service is available through the venue’s exclusive catering partner, Loosh Culinaire, which offers menus ranging from simple breakfasts to formal dinners.
