Its home is a converted former Post Office close to Birmingham New Street Station, with rooms arranged across three floors. Step-free access is available at the main entrance, a lift serves all floors, and the facilities include accessible and gender-neutral toilets, baby-changing provision, Wi-Fi, low-lit areas and quieter spaces. BOM is licensed and can accommodate a bar and catering. Organisers can discuss lunch options or bring their own catering, and tea, filter coffee and soft drinks are provided with hires. A barista service can also be arranged separately.

BOM also has a purpose-built virtual production studio available to hire.
