Grove House

Grove House is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion in Roehampton, offering an exclusive-use setting for weddings and private celebrations. Its historic interiors, landscaped grounds, lawns and rose garden give organisers a choice of backdrops for ceremonies, receptions, photographs and outdoor drinks. The house is close to Richmond Park and set within the University of Roehampton’s Froebel College campus.

For weddings, the venue can host ceremonies and celebrations for up to 150 guests, with evening events for up to 200. Couples can choose from several rooms, including the Portrait Room, and may also hold an outdoor ceremony in the grounds. The team helps couples plan the day and can advise on the venue’s accredited suppliers. Grove House operates on a dry-hire basis, with catering arranged through its preferred catering partners. The Terrace Room can be prepared for evening celebrations, with an in-house bar team.

The venue is also available for milestone birthdays, baby showers, christenings and engagement parties. Organisers can discuss room and grounds hire, as well as packages tailored to the occasion, guest numbers and budget. Whether planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, hosts can work with the events team to shape the arrangements. Accommodation is available at a nearby conference centre, a short walk away, which may be useful for guests travelling to the area.
