The Venue

The Venue is a distinctive event space in the heart of downtown Asheville, offering a flexible setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, conferences, retreats and private celebrations. Housed in a characterful 1920s building, it combines exposed brick, timber beams, original tile and an open-air balcony overlooking the city streetscape.

Event organisers can book one level or take over the entire building. The Market and Mezzanine level accommodates up to 250 guests for a seated event or 350 for a cocktail-style gathering. The Second Level seats up to 120 guests and can host up to 175 people for a reception. Each space has its own entrance, allowing organisers to create a format that suits the guest list, programme and atmosphere.

The Venue provides a broad range of practical event essentials, including tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, staffing, decor, specialist lighting, staging and audio-visual equipment. The in-house team also manages bar and beverage service, with beer, wine and spirits available for events. Organisers may bring their own caterer or select a suitable professional caterer from the venue’s preferred list.

For weddings, the venue supports both ceremony and reception formats, as well as smaller weekday elopements and intimate celebrations. Its central location places guests close to hotels, restaurants, parking garages, shops and Asheville attractions, making it a convenient choice for both local and destination events. Tours are available by appointment, and the venue team assists organisers with planning, logistics and event-day coordination.
