Riverside Place

Riverside Place is a distinctive event venue in downtown Spokane, housed in a historic Masonic Temple overlooking the Spokane River and falls. Its combination of grand architecture, varied room layouts and experienced event support makes it suitable for organisers planning weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, concerts, banquets and civic gatherings.

The venue offers four principal event spaces. The Falls Penthouse accommodates larger receptions and celebrations, with exposed timber beams, a polished dark floor, access to a long riverside balcony and views across Spokane Falls. The Commandery Room provides a more theatrical setting, with Roman-inspired details, a balcony, stage and projection booth. The Ballroom features a large polished maple dance floor, crystal chandeliers, decorative wall panels and a raised stage, making it well suited to wedding receptions, dinners and formal parties. The historic Auditorium offers an impressive backdrop for larger events, with capacity for gatherings of up to 1,200 guests.

Riverside Place supports organisers with a venue coordinator, assistance with layouts and external suppliers, event set-up and take-down, tables, chairs and linens, complimentary parking and staff on site during the event. Catering can be arranged through the venue’s premier in-house service or preferred caterers, while outside catering is also welcomed under the venue’s arrangements. Bar options include hosted, partially hosted and cash bars, with alcohol service managed by Riverside Place.

The building’s preserved architectural character, central Spokane location and flexible rooms give planners a strong setting for memorable events, from intimate ceremonies to large-scale receptions and public occasions.
