The Glass House

The Glass House is a contemporary event venue set within Springfield Park in East London, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, civil ceremonies, corporate gatherings and private celebrations. Its modern architecture, park surroundings and retractable skylights create a bright indoor environment with the atmosphere of an outdoor occasion, while providing dependable cover throughout the year.

The venue offers two flexible spaces, the Orchard Room and the Sky Room. Both rooms can welcome up to 150 guests for standing receptions, theatre-style presentations or larger celebrations, while the Sky Room can also be arranged for seated dinners of up to 60 people. The Orchard Room provides a blank canvas for organisers, with partitioning, natural light, glass doors and access to an exclusive terrace or courtyard area.

Event organisers can use The Glass House for conferences, meetings, workshops, training sessions, networking events, product launches, fashion shows, birthdays, baby showers, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, celebrations of life and wedding receptions. Venue hire includes useful production facilities such as a PA system, handheld microphones, a projector and screen, Bluetooth audio and Wi-Fi. The venue is wheelchair friendly and offers exclusive use for bookings, although there is no on-site parking and no late licence.

A dedicated events team supports organisers from the initial enquiry and viewing through to planning, supplier coordination and the event day. Catering and bar arrangements are available through approved partners, with the venue also maintaining recommended supplier lists for catering, audio-visual production, floristry and other event services. Its Hackney location is well connected by public transport, making it a practical choice for London celebrations and business events.
