The Gasworks Sudbury

The Gasworks Sudbury is a distinctive event venue in the Derbyshire countryside, offering a memorable setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, community activities and selected public events. Originally built in the 1870s to produce gas for Sudbury Hall and the surrounding estate, The Gasworks has been carefully brought back into use by the Sudbury Gasworks Restoration Trust. Its historic character remains central to the experience, with original architectural details, exposed materials and a story that gives every occasion a genuine sense of place.

The venue is suited to both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. It can host seated events for up to around 80 guests and evening receptions for up to 120 people.
