The Hideaway at Crooked Creek

The Hideaway at Crooked Creek is a private event estate in Whitsett, North Carolina, offering a scenic setting for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats and milestone celebrations. Set across 90 acres, the property combines open countryside, landscaped lawns, mature greenery, water features and peaceful outdoor spaces for events with a strong connection to nature.

The venue provides several settings for ceremonies and gatherings. Couples can exchange vows on the Upper Ceremony Lawn, with views across the surrounding landscape, or choose the lower ceremony area with its waterfall backdrop, wooden arbor and shaded atmosphere. The Arbor View offers an elevated open-air location with broad countryside views and seating for up to 140 guests. The estate can host larger outdoor ceremonies for more than 250 people, subject to the chosen layout.

For receptions, the tented space features hard flooring, a dedicated catering station, bar facilities, power outlets, a DJ area and room for dining, dancing and additional event installations. Adjacent lawns can be used for lounge areas, lawn games, cocktail moments or overflow arrangements. The venue also includes preparation spaces such as a bridal suite, groom's room and private lounges, helping the day flow smoothly from getting ready through to the final celebration.

The Hideaway welcomes outside caterers and event suppliers, making it suitable for organisers who want flexibility over food, styling, entertainment and production. Tours are available by appointment, with bilingual support in English and Spanish for clients and their guests.
