Festival Hall

Festival Hall is a versatile event venue in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, offering a choice of spaces for private celebrations, weddings, family occasions, corporate gatherings, performances and community activities. Located close to Alderley Edge railway station and within easy reach of Manchester, the venue combines a convenient location with the character of a historic building dating from the late 1920s.

The main Festival Ballroom is the largest space, accommodating up to 250 guests in a theatre-style layout or around 150 guests seated at tables. It includes a licensed bar, sound system, stage lighting, dance floor space, catering kitchen, free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. The room can be arranged for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, engagement celebrations, birthday parties, proms, comedy nights, concerts, presentations, theatre productions and other large gatherings.

For smaller bookings, Festival Hall also offers flexible meeting and function rooms. The Emerson Suite can be used for meetings, classes, training sessions, smaller celebrations or as an additional buffet and quiet area for larger events. The Regal Room provides a private conference setting for small groups, while other rooms can support meetings and event activities.

The venue welcomes a wide range of wedding celebrations, including receptions following ceremonies at nearby churches and registration offices. It also caters for christenings, naming ceremonies, baby showers, children’s parties, wakes, anniversaries and other important family occasions. Organisers can use the venue’s kitchen facilities and choose their own caterer, while the team can also recommend local florists, photographers and room dressers.

Festival Hall provides accessible ground-floor facilities, designated disabled parking and an accessible toilet.
