The Avenue Halls

The Avenue Halls is a flexible event venue in Kew, West London, offering a choice of characterful rooms within the former St Luke’s church. Its spaces are available for weddings, private celebrations, children’s parties, corporate gatherings, meetings, classes, workshops and community events, with one-off and regular hire options.

The Main Hall is the largest space, accommodating up to 200 guests standing or around 150 seated at tables. Victorian stone pillars, a polished parquet floor and a high acoustic ceiling create an attractive setting for receptions, dinners, dances and special occasions. The adjoining West End Room can extend the main space, provide a buffet or quiet area, and open onto a terrace and garden.

For smaller events, the Alexandra Hall offers an impressive arched ceiling and room for up to 100 standing guests, while the Marwood Room provides a light-filled setting for more intimate functions. A separate meeting room is available for business appointments, training sessions and smaller gatherings.

Organisers can use the commercial catering kitchen, which includes cooking, preparation and cleaning equipment. The venue supports a flexible dry-hire approach, allowing clients to appoint their own caterers, florists, musicians, decorators and entertainers. Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery and wine glasses are available for selected wedding arrangements, helping organisers plan their event with greater control over suppliers and styling.
