Emmanuel's Yard

Emmanuel’s Yard is a distinctive venue in the centre of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, offering flexible spaces for meetings, conferences, presentations, workshops, community gatherings and other organised events. Set within a renovated eighteenth-century church building, the venue combines historic character with practical facilities and a naturally bright interior.

The Sanctuary is the largest space, accommodating up to 252 guests in standing, seated or table layouts. It includes a stage, lighting, PA system and display screens, making it suitable for conferences, talks, performances, presentations and larger group sessions. Chapel Hall provides a second substantial room for up to 180 people and is well suited to informal meetings, training days, seminars and community activities.

For smaller groups, the Storehouse meeting room accommodates up to 20 people and can be arranged with additional tables, seating and room dividers. Guests can use the venue’s Wi-Fi, with flip charts and refreshments available on request. A commercial kitchen is also available to hire, with catering support and refreshments offered subject to arrangement.

Emmanuel’s Yard can assist with event technology, from straightforward presentation equipment and screens to more involved media requirements supported by a media suite. The venue also offers conference support, sound, media and hospitality services, helping organisers plan practical and well-supported events in one location.

Located within easy walking distance of Trowbridge town centre, public transport and the Lovemead car park, Emmanuel’s Yard is convenient for local and visiting delegates. The venue does not accommodate weddings or private parties, focusing instead on meetings, conferences, community events and professional or organisational bookings.
