Historic Hartland Music Hall

Historic Hartland Music Hall is a characterful event venue in the village of Hartland, Michigan, offering organisers an elegant setting for weddings, performances, ceremonies, community gatherings and private functions. The building dates from 1858 and is valued for its Greek Revival architecture, historic atmosphere and strong natural acoustics.

The auditorium accommodates up to 224 guests, with 199 seats on the main floor and a further 25 in the balcony. This makes the hall suitable for intimate wedding ceremonies, theatrical productions, concerts, dance recitals, music performances, lectures, graduations, meetings and other hosted events. Venue hire includes access to a stage, stage lighting, seating, tables and a grand piano. The Kilgen pipe organ may also be used with the caretaker’s permission and an approved organist. Additional equipment can include a projector, movie screen, music system, compact PA and microphone, subject to availability. The building also has a green room, dressing room and accessible restrooms. Wedding and event accessories such as a wedding arch, floral arrangements and LED candles may be available as optional additions.

The hall is administered by Cromaine District Library, which handles tours, date enquiries, reservations and venue policies. Organisers should note that food and beverages are not permitted inside the auditorium, and alcohol is not allowed on the property.
