Northern Rockies Heritage Center

Northern Rockies Heritage Center offers distinctive indoor and outdoor event spaces at historic Fort Missoula in Missoula, Montana. Set within a preserved military heritage site, the centre provides organisers with a memorable backdrop for weddings, receptions, celebrations, community gatherings and other public or private occasions.

The main indoor space is Heritage Hall, a restored 2,100-square-foot ballroom and auditorium located in the former Post Headquarters building. Its historic character includes restored hardwood floors, a tin-panelled ceiling and a detailed balcony, while modern improvements provide practical facilities for contemporary events. The hall includes access to restrooms, a dressing room, a catering kitchen, tables and chairs, and doors opening onto an outdoor deck. The space can accommodate more than 200 guests, depending on the event layout.

For larger or outdoor occasions, the Parade Grounds provide expansive lawns framed by mature trees and historic Officers’ Row buildings. The grounds can accommodate marquees, outdoor ceremonies, receptions and combined indoor-outdoor formats, with seasonal capacity for up to 500 guests. This flexibility makes the site suitable for everything from an intimate celebration to a sizeable community or corporate gathering.
