Valhalla Tahoe

Valhalla Tahoe is a distinctive historic event venue on the southern shore of Lake Tahoe, offering an atmospheric setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, meetings and community events. Set within the Heller Estate at the Tallac Historic Site, the property combines early twentieth-century character with flexible spaces and striking natural surroundings.

The Grand Hall is the main reception space, featuring a vaulted timber interior, a large stone fireplace and a warm heritage atmosphere suited to dinners, receptions, celebrations and fundraising occasions. Couples can also make use of the Grand Lawn, historic pier and natural beach, creating opportunities for outdoor ceremonies, drinks receptions, photographs and informal activities among mature trees and lakeside scenery.

For conferences, presentations, performances and larger gatherings, the Boathouse Theatre provides auditorium seating, a lake-facing picture window, sound equipment, colour-changing lighting and a drop-down screen. The venue can accommodate meetings, panel discussions, performances and presentations in a memorable setting. The Grand Lawn offers additional room for team activities, breakout sessions, lunches and larger outdoor gatherings, with space for events hosting up to several hundred guests.

Valhalla Tahoe works with organisers, couples, planners, caterers and event suppliers to support private hire and wedding bookings. Its event programme is seasonal, with the site and office generally operating from spring through autumn. As a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving the estate, event bookings also contribute to the ongoing care and restoration of this important Lake Tahoe heritage property.
